Barclaycard ArrivalTM World MasterCard®

If you’re looking for a card that earns real-world rewards, look no further than Barclaycard ArrivalTM World MasterCard®.

The U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature® Card is a rewards card that earns flexible points that you can redeem for statement credit, gift cards, and travel.

The card has no annual fee and offers 3x points per $1 spent on gas, grocery, and airline purchases; 2x points per $1 spent at restaurants; and 1x point per $1 spent elsewhere.

And if you’re in search of a way to build credit history (which could save you money later down the line), apply for it it’s among our favorite starter cards.

This card comes with a 0% introductory APR on balance transfers and purchases for 12 billing cycles, so you can pay off any existing debt without interest.

After that, a regular variable APR applies. There are no foreign transaction fees.

The Platinum Card® from American Express: This premium charge card is best suited for those who travel frequently and want more than just one type of reward currency to spend or redeem their points as they see fit.

Amex EveryDay® Preferred Credit Card from American Express

If you have an excellent credit score, a low-interest rate can save you quite a bit of money over time. The Amex EveryDay Preferred card has no annual fee and charges just 12.99% APR on balance transfers for 18 months one of the most competitive rates available now.

There’s also an opportunity to earn rewards without fees: 3 points per dollar spent at U.S. supermarkets (up to $6,000 per year), 2 points per dollar spent at U.S. gas stations and select U.S. department stores, and 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases.

Plus, if you make 30 or more purchases in a billing period, you get 50% more points on those purchases plus access to premium customer service.

BankAmericard Cash RewardsTM Credit Card

BankAmericard Cash RewardsTM has a Rotating Bonus Cash Back Category that lets you earn up to 5% cash back in popular bonus categories like gas stations, grocery stores, and wholesale clubs every quarter you activate.

Get 0% intro APR for 12 billing cycles for purchases and for any balance transfers made in the first 60 days, then a variable APR of 14.24-24.99%. The annual fee is $0 which I think is a real nice one.

There is no annual fee or foreign transaction fees with the activation of your free credit score through Bank of America®’s banking products.

Plus, get access to your free FICO® Score online so you can track your progress as you work toward building better credit over time.

Citi ThankYou PremierSM Card

If you’re looking for a great balance transfer card and have excellent credit, check out Citi’s ThankYou PremierSM Card.

This is one of my favorite cards for helping to pay down high-interest debt. The ThankYou Premier offers an introductory APR of 0% for six months on both purchases and balance transfers.

And it has no annual fee! While I like that you don’t need an annual fee to reap these rewards, I do wish there was some way to earn extra points as you pay off your debts. Still, it’s a great option if you’re trying to pay down balances quickly without accruing interest charges by transferring them over.

After your promotional period ends, regular rates apply 15.99%-25.99% variable based on your creditworthiness.

So keep in mind that while you’ll save money with lower interest rates during your promotional period, those rates will go up after it ends unless you can pay off what you owe before then.

Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express

Unlike many cash-back cards, which give you a flat rate of 1% back on all purchases, the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express offers three different types of rewards: 2 miles per dollar spent at restaurants and on eligible American Airlines purchases; one mile per dollar spent everywhere else; and 10,000 bonus miles if you spend $25,000 within your first year.

Those bonus miles can be redeemed for a variety of things like gift cards or flights. When it comes to helping you save money when paying down debt, no other credit card beats it with an introductory 0% interest rate for 18 months (with a 3% balance transfer fee) followed by a variable 15.24%-26.24% APR.
